Exploring Abernethy Creek

Students from West Linn High School visited us for the last time this school year at Abernethy Creek.  Students sampled for macroinvertebrates, explored the creek and reflected on their times spent here over the past school year.  These students (over 200 strong!) have worked so hard to restore Abernethy Creek this year and we are really grateful for their enthusiasm and dedication.  Results are in…

Native Trees and Shrubs Planted: 950

Armenian(Himalayan) Blackberry Removed: 3,000 lbs

Plants Coffee Bagged: 180

Plants Caged to prevent beaver damage: 80

Students visited Abernethy Creek: 8 times!

THANK YOU WEST LINN HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!
