Aquatic and terrestrial life at Rock Creek

Ensatina found a Rock Creek

Dunn's Salamander found at Rock Creek

Clackamas High School students came out to Rock Creek last week to do both a macroinvertebrate survey and terrestrial salamander survey.  Students found many creatures both in the water and on land.  Check out the terrific photos teacher Rod Shroufe took above!  Students will be comparing macroinvertebrate survey data from this past fall and spring with the help of Patrick Edwards from Portland State University and we’ll be sure to share those results here shortly!
